What We Do
What if coding students in Nairobi could partner with young Black coders in Chicago to create an app? Or a Black farmer in the hills of Negril, Jamaica could get his product on the shelves of a Black-owned grocer in London? Black & Borderless makes such hypothetical scenarios a reality. Too often, Black entrepreneurs, creators, and professionals limit their network, impact, and reach to their home country or continent. We create GLOBAL connections between people of African descent.
Why We Do It
I happen to be the product of an African/African American union. My father was born and raised in Cameroon and my mother is from the American midwest.
From a very early age, I had to learn to oscillate between these two segments of Black culture.
After spending eight years of my life in Cameroon and the remainder in the U.S., I have come to realize that this, my biculturalism, is my superpower.
Because of it, I’m in a unique position to bring Black folks from various parts of the world together to create, innovate, and elevate. This is the time. Let’s do this!
